Bar Manager required for beautiful 4* hotel on the Dorset Coast. This quayside located hotel has an excellent reputation and is fast becoming the go to place on the Dorset Coast.
We are looking for applications from a Bar Manager for a busy venue, a place to relax, dine and drink, where coastal heritage meets yacht chic, this venue is open throughout the day. From early morning coffees and breakfast at the bar, to brunch and long lunches from the outdoor grill, sun-downers on the terrace, rolling into dinner and drinks
The ideal person for this role would have a minimum of experience at 2 Rosette level, they will be hands on and happy to get involved with service and motivating their team but on a bigger level will help the Restaurant Manager input standards and make sure that they are adhered to on the floor. They would have ideas about improving service and able to run the restaurant on their own the absence of the Restaurant Manager. They would ideally have a strong operational background and understand food and beverage service, staff management, rota management and supplier liaison.
