Our Client are seeking for an enthusiastic and experienced Junior Sous Chef.
The owners have recently renovated the large manor house, set in its own unique and historic estate. The present owners diversified the house in 2010 into a 5 Star Bed and Breakfast and an Exclusive venue that is booked in its entirety for weddings, parties, conferences and private dinner parties.You will be catering for a range of different events from bespoke breakfasts to business lunches, tea parties, cocktail parties and private dinners.
This is a role in a very busy kitchen, therforeyou must be well organised and able to handle a fast pace and high standards.
As Junior Sous Chef you will...
* Maintain Health and Hygiene standards of the kitchen.
* Assist in the smooth running of the kitchen as well as the production of exceptional cuisine.
* Report to the kitchens Head Chef
As Junior Sous Chef you will need:
* NVQ 1 & 2 or equivalent
* Strong leadership, motivational and teamwork skills
* Planning and Time Management
* A flexible attitude
* Excellent communication skills
