A Pastry Demi is required to work within a large brigade, situated in a multi site hotel.
The property is a luxurious 5 Star Hotel the Hertfordshire area, featuring over 200 rooms, a vast range of leisure facilites and excellent dining options. This property is famous for its Award Winning Rosette acredited Fine Dining restaurant, as well as for its casual style dining and marvelous afternoon teas.
As a Pastry Demi you must be capable of preparing food to a high standard. You will be required to make everything from scratch, using fresh ingredients and maintain the highest level of hygiene possible. You must have an eye for detail as you will be providing desserts and petit fours to all the dining facilities. You must be capable to work under pressure and as part of a team, supporting Senior Chefs.
As part of a large brigade it is essential that your communication skills are excellent, you have strong commitment, with dedication to your career and a passion for food. Experience is essential in a stable hotel background preferably 2/3AA Rosette with excellent references.
